Providence Senior Living today announced two executive promotions that reinforce its operational and financial leadership as the Florida-based senior living provider builds on its long-standing commitment to residents and families.
Effective immediately, Damon Thomas has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Providence Senior Living, while Zacha Garcia has been named Vice President of Finance for Providence One Partners, the parent company of Providence Senior Living. The appointments recognize the contributions both executives have made to the organization and expand their responsibilities in key areas of the business.
“Damon and Zacha have each earned these opportunities through years of consistent leadership, sound judgment and an unwavering commitment to our people,” said Tom Green, chief executive officer of Providence Senior Living and principal of Providence One Partners. “They’ve been instrumental in shaping the organization we are today, and both exemplify our founding pillars of Love, Empowerment, Excellence and Purpose.”
Damon Thomas Named Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Damon will oversee community operations, leadership development, quality initiatives, sales support and the execution of strategic priorities. During his tenure, he has been a driving force behind operational improvements, mentoring community leaders and fostering the collaborative culture that distinguishes Providence.
“Our community leaders and frontline teams are the reason Providence succeeds,” said Thomas. “My role is to make sure they have the support they need to deliver exceptional experiences for every resident and family we serve.”
Zacha Garcia Promoted to Vice President of Finance
Zacha’s appointment reflects the significant role she has played within Providence One Partners, where she has enhanced financial systems, supported acquisitions, managed lender and client relationships and provided insight to inform major business decisions.
As Vice President of Finance, she will oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting, capital strategy, banking relationships and overall financial operations, providing financial leadership for the company’s portfolio of senior living communities.
“Strong financial stewardship ensures our communities have the necessary resources to continue delivering the high level of service our residents and families expect,” said Garcia. “I’m grateful for the confidence placed in me and look forward to helping Providence achieve long-term success.”
